Right and Wrong [Apr. 23rd, 2006|08:16 pm]
That aint important...

What is right and wrong in this world? How can one decide what is truly righteous today? How can you go about trying to do what's right when you don't know what's right? Even at a young age, parents try to teach their children the difference between right and wrong. However, they only can teach what they've been taught. This includes the different views teach from the Bible. I still ponder on this. I'll get back to this thought at another time.

That's taught from the Bible.

Well, as Christians we have a great guide for right and wrong ... the Holy Spirit. Sometimes referred to as a conscience. If it feels wrong, it probably is. However, if we ignore what the Holy Spirit is telling us is wrong too often we start to hear the conscience less and less. That's when you need to get in the Bible and pray. Read and pray. I could stand for some of that too.

The only thing that scares me is that some fake the Holy Spirit. I have no right to say that someone is faking...true enough. However, sometimes I can't help but see some of the things people do in the church and do the complete opposite out of it.

The Bible is truly the ultimate source of what's right and wrong. However, there are somethings about it that worry me. People sometimes interpet what they want from the scriptures. Sometimes they'll even turn the meaning outside down. Plus, I think of how many translations today's Bible has been thru as well as how many Gospels didn't make it into today's Bible for one reason or another.

I think too much... I ask the Lord to show me the truth and He surely does. However, the problem comes in with showing others. I've found music as one way to communicate it. Pray for me....
